Experience: I've used it.

I bought these IR headphones for the 10" LCD I installed in my van. Specifically I bought them for the kids on long car rides so I wouldn't have to listen to their movies through the FM transmitter. So far they survived about 30 hours of use while driving on vacation and haven't broken with children from ages 4 to 11. The durability seems to be there as far as the day to day use. In regards to comfort, I tried them on and they were a bit tight for me but the kids seemed to like them ok. The ear foam could be improved for comfort but serves it purpose. After long periods of time they will irritate your ears. Sound quality was good, certainly good enough for watching a movie in the car. These won't blow you away with sound quality, but I didn't hear any noise that was noticeable or something detrimental to the sound experience. The movies sounded crisp, clear, and free from white noise. The only performance issue we had with them at all during the time we have been using them was related to the batteries. There were two occasions were the batteries appeared to come a little loose and need to be reseated. Other than that, there were no technical difficulties them. Overall I think for the money, these are a great purchase. They could be a bit more comfortable, but they get the job done and the price is excellent.
