Overview Tripp Lite's KVM Console Extender is the ideal solution for controlling a computer or KVM switch from a remote console up to 500-ft. away. The unit is perfect for isolated server rooms, secure systems, test benches, factory/construction sites, or any other application where security issues or environmental concerns are present. It consists of a local module and remote module for control from two separate locations. Category 5e STP cable is used to connect the modules, while the included 6-ft. PS/2 (3-in-1) cable kit is used to connect the local module to the computer or KVM switch.
