Overview Lexmark provides a range of interfaces, which can be used to extend the connectivity of your printer. For the majority of printers, the new interface is simply a push fit installation into the option interface slot - the printer automatically recognizes the new interface. In use, the majority of printers will auto-switch between the standard and optional interface, allowing more than one interface to be connected simultaneously to the printer.
